Sarah Angela Atkinson is entering her 18th year in education. Ms. Atkinson graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown with her bachelor's degree and Lamar University in Beaumont with her master's in Educational Administration. In addition she is a National Board Certified teacher in mathematics. Ms. Atkinson began her time at AISD in 2013 as a math teacher and instructional coach. She has been fortunate to teach in high achieving school districts throughout the country including Oregon, New Mexico and Leander ISD in Texas. Ms Atkinton has taught at both the middle and high school levels and understands how to support students to be succcessful at each of these levels and ultimately become life long learners. In addition, Ms. Atkinson has coached student athletes at the middle and high school levels. She is a mother to two former Bobcat students.
