Schedule Change Request

  Welcome Bedichek Bobcats.  We look forward to a great year together.  We understand that students may change their mind about elective classes the first couple of weeks of school.  Students may decide they wish to drop one elective class because they may be interested in a different one.  We want to accommodate necessary schedule change requests so please read the following information regarding schedule change requests and procedures.

 
1. Requests will only be considered between August 15th and August 26th as by the 3rd week of school, class systems, structures, and routines are in place.
 
2. Students are not able to drop English, Math, Science, Social Studies/History, or PE class as these are required.
 
3. Schedule change requests must be made using this form.  This ensures that parents are giving permission for the possible elective schedule change.  If students ask the counselor for a schedule change, the counselor will direct the student to fill out this form with their parent.
 
4. Requesting a schedule change does not guarantee a change will be granted.  There are many factors that could prevent a schedule change from being granted, including the class being requested is already full, the class being requested is not offered the same period as the class being asked to be dropped, and other scheduling conflicts that could arise when attempting to change a student's schedule around.
 
5.  Students will be notified by Monday, August 29th, if their schedule change request was granted or if they will need to remain in the elective class/classes listed on their first day of school schedule
